This notice explains how personal data collected through cagancicek.com is handled. The site is operated by Çağan Çiçek as an individual, who is the data controller. Contact: info@cagancicek.com

What we collect

We collect personal data only through the quotation form. Unless you send the form, nothing personal is recorded. How the product finder works is explained separately below.

Identity and contact
Name, company, email address
Request
Destination market, incoterm, estimated volume, your notes, the products and quantities in your quote list
Technical
Time of submission, site language, record that you ticked the consent box

We do not record IP addresses, location or behavioural data.

Product finder

Questions you type into the product finder (bottom right) are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to an AI model so it can answer from the catalogue. We do not store these conversations; they disappear when you close the page. To limit abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address is kept in a counter for at most one hour. Please do not enter personal or confidential information; AI answers can be wrong and are not a quotation.

Why we process it

To answer your request. Legal basis: your consent (the form's checkbox) and our legitimate interest in pre-contract communication.

To keep a record. To follow up requests and see which products are asked about.

We do not add you to marketing lists, send unrelated email or sell your data.

These providers access data only as far as needed to run the service.

How long we keep it

Form records are kept for 12 months from submission and then deleted automatically. Ask us and we delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under KVKK and, if you are in the European Union, the GDPR you can ask:

  • what we hold about you, and for a copy
  • to correct wrong or incomplete data
  • to delete your data
  • to withdraw consent
  • to object to processing

Write to info@cagancicek.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, in the EU, to your national data protection authority.

Cookies and measurement

The site sets no cookies. Visit counts come from Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and anonymous; nothing identifies you. Your browser keeps only your language choice and your quote list. Details: Cookie notice.
